Eve Gamble

Evelyn Gamble A trans-transplant from the east coast, Eve has been in Oakland for the last decade spreading art, music, and love to her community. Painting from a young age, she has rediscovered her love for the medium and continues to push boundaries of exploration with her style. Jumping from detailed surrealism to abstract expressionism she can’t seem to stay in her lane, “I’m bored easily”, a relevant quote from the artist.

Figurative works

Using a large swath of mediums including oil paint, acrylic paint pens, and oil sticks I paint the human form. Figurative painting has always intrigued me and provides a rewarding experience every time i get it right.

Digital Work

Digital art is a crucial part of my design process and most paintings start on my iPad. Using a combination of collage and illustration to set the scene for a painting. Often times they wind up being a work of their own.
